Students achieve more when parents are involved in their child’s education process regardless of their socioeconomic status, ethnic or racial background, or the parent’s educational level. Children whose parents are involved in their education often earn higher grades and receive higher test scores, have fewer absences, demonstrate positive behaviors and attitudes about school and are more likely to graduate and enroll in post-secondary education.
