The student activities office is located in Room 4-131, near the cafeteria. The student activities office is a place where students can come to have all of there questions answered, and concerns met.

The purpose of Student Activities is simple; keeping school a great place, where students want to come day after day. The student activities office facilitates all fund raisers, field trips,clubs, groups, organizations, help with athletic teams, special events, pep rallies, assemblies, dances, ceremonies, awards, and of course graduation!

What students & parents need to know about the Student Activities Office:

At least 10 hours of Community Service is required for graduation.

At least 75 hours of Community Service is required for the Bright Future Scholarship.

At least 250 hours of Community Service is required for B.G.H.S. Community Service graduation regalia.

Completed Community Service Hours must be submitted with the following documentation:

  • Hours Log (see PDF Below)
  • Documentation Letter from Organization where hours were completed
  • Essay describing community service experience.

Goleman offers over 50 Honor Societies, Clubs & Special Interest Groups for students to participate in extra-curricular activities (see PDF below).

Homecoming, Junior Ring Ceremony & Senior Events (including Senior Breakfast, Honor Grad Dinner, Prom & Graduation) are facilitated via this Office.
